In Yemen, the Huthi armed group has sought to quash dissent in the areas under its control. They have swept up political opposition figures, activists, human rights defenders and journalists from their homes, streets, work places, meetings or protests, as part of a broad crackdown against those who have opposed their take-over of government institutions and might have spoken in favour of the Saudi Arabia-led coalition campaign.
