UA: 243/10 Iranian media reported that footballer's wife, Khadijeh Jahed, may be executed on 1 December. She is sentenced to death for the alleged murder of her husband's permanent wife.

Condemned: Letters from Death Row- Extract

This is an extract from a collection of letters between Seán Ó Riain, a former teacher from Cork and Ray (not his real name) who is on death row in the USA. Ray has been sentenced to death for killing a man, a crime he committed as a young man, freely admits, and regrets. If his appeal succeeds, his sentence may be commuted to life in prison without parole.
