Annual Conference 2019

Join Amnesty International Ireland for Annual Conference 2019.

When: Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 March.

Where: The Gas Building, 24 D’Olier Street, Dublin.

At Annual Conference we’ll hear from incredible women who are at the forefront of movements for human rights change around the world.

We’ll hear from Izabela Mozdrzeń and Beata Geppert and their experiences fighting fascism in Poland, as well as Vitalina Koval, an LGBTI activist facing violence and threats in Ukraine. We’ll also hear from Ireland’s own incredible activists and campaigners who repealed the 8th Amendment.

To top off this wonderful line-up, Kumi Naidoo, Secretary General of Amnesty International, will be the keynote speaker. Kumi started his social justice campaigning as an anti-apartheid activist in South Africa at just 15 years old, and is the former Executive Director of Greenpeace.

We’ll also be talking about ‘Community Sponsorship’, a new programme that gives people the chance to ‘sponsor’ refugees to be resettled in Ireland.

Join us on March 23rd and 24th in the Gas Building in Dublin city centre. Day tickets cost €10 and weekend pass costs €20. Both include lunch.
