Urgent: Donate to Afghanistan relief fund
Right now in Afghanistan, thousands of human rights defenders, journalists and academics are at imminent risk of reprisals. Women human rights defenders face the worst danger.
Amnesty continues to protect individuals who are most at risk with our Global Relief Programme. We are also continuing our emergency advocacy work, using our research from Afghanistan to pressure governments and decision-makers at the highest levels to step in, protect civilians and take more refugees.
This work has never been more urgent or crucial than now.
The global relief programme is an emergency fund that provides legal aid, medical support, alarm systems and relocation to safety for those whose lives are in immediate danger.
Last year our relief team assisted more than 2,000 individuals including many in Afghanistan. But many more need our support.
Your donation will help our response to the crisis in Afghanistan and other vital activities to promote human rights.
Thank you for your incredible support.
