Over 6 million Palestinians remain as refugees and at least another 150,000 are at real risk of losing their homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Israel has created and maintains laws, policies, and practices that deliberately oppress Palestinians and work to ensure Jewish Israeli domination across Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT). In the Instagram post, Narges Mohammadi wrote that, on 23 May, the court had issued the verdict to her for \u201coffences\u201d that included participating in a sit-in with other prisoners in the women\u2019s ward of Tehran\u2019s Evin prison between 21 and 24 December 2019 to protest the killings of protesters during the November 2019 nationwide protests, issuing statements condemning the death penalty and speaking out publicly about how prison, security and judicial officials subjected her to torture and other ill-treatment during and shortly after her peaceful sit-in.
