Like many others, our fundraising efforts have been negatively affected by Covid-19. New member sign-ups have reduced massively, events are postponed and other fundraising activities have had to stop altogether.
But this pandemic makes our work more vital than ever and we must continue: refugees’ lives in camps have become even more intolerable, people without homes, both in Ireland and across the world, are suffering so much more. Some governments are also using the pandemic to crack down on their people, abusing their basic human rights. We must stop them.
