Violence Against Women and Justice Denied in Mexico State

An Amnesty International delegation visited Mexico State in June 2005 and interviewed several of the people arrested in May, as well as human rights organizations and the Mexican authorities. This report describes what happened to the women. This report shows how the Mexican authorities are still not taking effective steps to ensure that such abuses do not go unpunished.
