Get involved with a brand new movement has been launched to tackle stigma and challenge discrimination!
 
See Change is a national campaign, bringing together many different organisations under one banner to promote better attitudes about mental health, and reduce the stigma and discrimination attached to mental health and mental health problems and to ensure that everyone enjoys the same rights on an equal basis.
 
There are lots of great organisations on board - including Amnesty International Ireland – who will combining their efforts over the next two years to create a big impact. We will be helping to organise and promote this unified message, but we also need your help!
 
There are two ways to get involved
 
See Change wants YOU to come up with an idea
 
Your idea could be either
 
1)      a memorable campaign slogan
 
or
 
2) way to reduce stigma and challenge discrimination
 
The best idea will win €5,000!
 
See Change: The Vision
Our vision is that of an Ireland where every person has an open and positive attitude to their own and others' mental health.
 
See Change: The Mission

a) To reduce stigma associated with mental health problems and challenge discrimination.

b) To create an environment where people are more open and positive in their attitudes and behaviour towards mental health

c) To promote greater understanding and acceptance of, and support for people with mental health problems

d) To empower individual people with experience of mental health problems to gain equality, respect and rights.
