Volunteering

The many achievements of Amnesty International Ireland to date depend massively on the efforts of the men and women who join us as volunteers.

Each one is a vital cog in the wheel of the organisation, one that would struggle to exist without their goodwill and hard work.

But what will you get out of volunteering for Amnesty International Ireland? Why should you be persuaded to give up your valuable spare time to join our cause?

By signing up as a volunteer, you will become part of the struggle for human rights around the world.

You will gain:

  • First-hand experience working for a major human rights organisation
  • New skills and knowledge, in a vibrant environment
  • The chance to work in a variety of roles including campaigning, fundraising, media work and general support

All volunteers receive a daily expenses allowance and our monthly volunteer e-bulletin, which contains information on everything from ongoing volunteer positions to casual once-off opportunities to get involved.

With offices and groups nationwide, Amnesty International has a variety of exciting campaigns and projects going on that need your help.

So if you have time to spare and want to join the fight for human rights, get in touch today and help us make a difference.

Application forms are available below, and for anyone who can not access them, please send an email expressing your interest instead.
