What is a tribute fund?
It is a fund that can be set up as a lasting tribute to someone special. It can be named directly after that person, if you wish, the fund offers family, friends and colleagues the opportunity to contribute to a living memory.
How can you donate through the Tribute Fund?
- You can use your tribute fund in the way that suits you best.
- Making a simple personal donation in memory, perhaps on a special anniversary
- Ask for Donations in lieu of flowers in the notice
- Responding to an appeal
- Setting up a regular gift by Direct Debit
- Requesting donations to the fund in lieu of presents for special occasions
- Recording a legacy pledge (promise) in the fund. When eventually received, the legacy value will be added to the fund's overall fundraising total.
- Taking part in a sponsored challenge (your own or one we have organised)
- Holding your own event eg coffee morning
What are the benefits of setting up a Tribute Fund?

Your donation in memory of a loved one will help those people who face a daily struggle against human rights abuses worldwide.
Making a donation is easy. Simply call us on 1850 882 500 and donate over the phone or send us a cheque, postal order or cash today. We will send you back a handwritten card of thanks, which you can keep or pass on to the family.
If you would like to request donations to Amnesty International in lieu of flowers at a funeral or memorial service you can simply include this wording in your death notice. Donations in lieu of flowers to: Amnesty International Ireland, Sean MacBride House, 48 Fleet Street, Dublin 2, Ireland. Please state who the donation is in memory of.
