Get Active for Amnesty

Take part in a sponsored event to raise money for human rights with Team Amnesty

Are you planning to get fit, set your self a new challenge or join the tens of thousands of people in Ireland who will be getting active in 2010? If so, we would be delighted if you would do so on behalf of Amnesty International Ireland.

Whatever you decide there are just five simple steps – and you’re on your way!
1. Choose your activity from the list below or organise your own activity.
2. Register with the event organisers as soon as possible to secure your place.
3. Let us know and we will send your Team Amnesty Sponsorship Pack
4. Get sponsorship either online or with your sponsor form and see the funds start rolling in
5. Get in touch by email teamamnesty@amnesty.ie or call us on 1850 882 400 and we can support
you every step of the way!

Send us a photo of yourself in action and we will add it to our Human Rights Heroes Gallery

Walk, jog, or run for human rights!  This autumn we're asking you to take to the streets around Ireland to help men and women in danger right now across Syria and the Middle East.  Their only crime is to stand up for their human rights and they need your help.

Amnesty International's crisis funds are running low so we're asking you to get active this autumn by taking part in the Dublin Marathon on 31 October or one of the many other runs around the country (see below).

Fancy taking the plunge to help human rights around the world?

How about making an exhilarating 10,000 feet freefall parachute jump?

The Christmas Day Swim is now a popular tradition in Ireland.
If you’re planning on taking a dip this Christmas please consider raising sponsorship in support of Amnesty International’s work.

To request a Team Amnesty sponsorship pack please email teamamnesty@amnesty.ie or call us on 1850 882 400
giving your full name, address, telephone number and t-shirt size.
By requesting a sponsorship pack you are simply agreeing to raise sponsorship for us – and for that we thank you. However, you must register with the organisers of your chosen event to get a race number (where applicable), otherwise you may not be able to take part.
